The Sunday service, the group's weekly meeting, the Thursday rehearsal… many activities repeat. Instead of adding them one by one, create a series and Domo generates all the dates for you.
Create a recurring series
- In Events, click Create and choose New series.
- Give it a name (for example, "Sunday service").
- Choose the frequency:
- Weekly — you pick the day of the week.
- Biweekly — every two weeks, on the day you choose.
- Monthly — by day of the month, or by position (for example, "the first Sunday").
- Set the start date and, if you want, an end date.
- Fill in the event details (time, place, scope, whether it requires attendance).
- Click Save.
Domo automatically creates all the events in the series and keeps them going up to about three months ahead.
A discipleship's meetings with a day and time are also created as a series, without you having to do anything extra. It's the same idea.
What if something changes?
If the series changes (different time, different place), you can edit it and the upcoming dates update. That way you keep the calendar current without repetitive work.
